CONCLUSION
All the tools explored during the course have expanded my world, giving me new ways to create materials and different assistants to help with specific tasks. Before starting the course, I felt a bit disconnected from the world of artificial intelligence, and to me, using programs like ChatGPT or Gemini felt like cheating. But once I saw them as support tools, everything changed. These tools will definitely help enrich my lesson plans with more varied activities. Usually, within the teaching circle, activities tend to be repetitive and, in many cases, the same. However, AI offers the opportunity to create visuals, audios, and even games to keep students more engaged in class. Without a doubt, I would always apply these tools to create different images for the activity "Which character are you today?", a task that encourages students to identify with something or someone. I could personalize it with emojis that represent my students, and even create customized material with them, such as interactive videos or charts. AI has clearly given us a great opportunity to reach a new level of imagination, not only to help us as teachers create content but also to empower our students to become self-sufficient and create their own materials.
Hi Alejandra, your blog was both informative and enjoyable to read! I liked how you broke down your experience with the modules and made meaningful connections to classroom applications. Your perspective on the use of AI in education is very relevant and inspiring. You've done a great job showing how these tools can support both teachers and students.
ResponderEliminarHi Alejandra, it's great to see how you've transformed your view of AI, moving from feeling 'disconnected' or that it was 'cheating' to seeing it as a powerful assistant for your teaching. You're also absolutely right that AI allows us to break free from repetitive activities and create much more dynamic materials. What caught my attention the most is that you highlight how AI not only helps us, the teachers, but also empowers students to create their own materials. Good job!
ResponderEliminarGreat reflections, Alejandra! I like how you recognized the potential of AI not only for teachers but also for helping students become more independent learners. Your ideas about creating personalized materials and interactive activities are great. A small suggestion would be to include an example of material created with AI. Keep exploring you're on the right path to making your future classes dynamic and innovative!"
